Hillary and Chelsea Clinton at First Baptist Church! – CANCELED – SIGNED BOOKS AVAILABLE
In an abundance of caution for the safety of all, the upcoming tour of Secretary Hillary Clinton and Chelsea Clinton has been canceled.
We were honored to have been one of only four bookstores in the country that the Clintons were visiting and are, of course, disappointed as we’re sure you all are.
However … (and this is exciting) …
The Clintons and their publishing team are offering a generous substitute: if you have purchased a ticket, you will receive a copy of Grandma’s Gardens signed by both Secretary Clinton and Chelsea Clinton. For the original event, books were not going to be signed, so this is truly an exciting and unexpected opportunity. Additionally, they are willing to send even more books than we have sold tickets, so new readers can purchase a signed book here on Eventbrite!
If you are a CURRENT TICKET-HOLDER and would like one signed copy of Grandma’s Gardens for each ticket purchased, you do not need to do anything. We will contact you when the books have arrived, which will be sometime after the publication date of March 31. We can also arrange to have your copy shipped to you. If you would prefer a refund, please request one through the Eventbrite page. If you purchased a SINGLE, COUPLES, or FAMILY ticket, you will be refunded the surcharge added to pay for your seat(s) at the venue. This partial refund will come through Eventbrite.
If you are NOT a current ticket-holder, you may purchase a “SIGNED Copy of Grandma’s Gardens” ticket here on Eventbrite, while supplies last.
Everyone at Little Shop thanks you for your understanding as we navigate through this cancelation and work to get you a SIGNED book!
ABOUT GRANDMA’S GARDENS AND THE AUTHORS:
From mother-daughter team Hillary Clinton and Chelsea Clinton comes a celebration of family, tradition and discovery, and an ode to mothers, grandmothers and the children they love. Grandma Dorothy shared her love of gardens with her daughter, Hillary, and her granddaughter, Chelsea. She taught them that gardens are magical places to learn, exciting spaces for discovery, quiet spots to spend time with family and beautiful areas to share stories and celebrate special occasions. But most of all, she taught them that in her gardens, her love grew and blossomed. In this inspiring and heartwarming mother-daughter story, Hillary Clinton and Chelsea Clinton team up to show readers how sharing the things we love with the people we love can create powerful, everlasting bonds between generations.
