Kindness Project Movie Night

Friday, July 28st – 7 pm — Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind

Our Kindness Project theme this month is Earth awareness, and there’s no filmmaker more in tune with these ideas than Hayo Miyazaki. The director and animator of Spirited Away, My Neighbor Totoro, and Howl’s Moving Castle, Miyazaki’s career exploded with the release of Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, a powerful movie about a high-flying, sword-wielding princess whose adventure to save her kingdom from invaders could save the world and reverse centuries of humanity’s war with nature. Please join us for a showing of this classic of Japanese animation!
