It’s SMALL Business Saturday!!!

Saturday, November 30th

Decatur does it BIG on Small Business Saturday. First, Santa makes his big arrival on a fire truck for the biggest photo op of the season for children (yes, of all ages) from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Enjoy warm, fresh-baked cookies with a cold cup of milk or hot cocoa. Register for this free event at freshtix.com. Sponsored by the Decatur Business Association and Downtown Development Authority. Bring that gift list, check it twice, and “Shop Small” for gifts at City of Decatur businesses. Stroll beyond the square to West Ponce, the Old Depot District, East Decatur and Oakhurst – or hop on our mini shuttle between shopping and dining hot spots. Bring City of Decatur shop receipts worth $200 from your November purchases and we’ll give you a $20 gift card to a City of Decatur restaurant. That’s a big deal! Also under the big tent: free gift wrapping for items purchased at City of Decatur retail shops.

Little Shop of Stories will have delicious treats to share (while supplies last) throughout the day.

Plus, we’ll have some very special visitors!

At 11 a.m., come for a reading and signing with Jane Yolen and Heidi Stemple!

From 3 to 5 p.m., swing by to get some book recommendations from author Becky Goldstein Albertalli!
